Mumbai, India – The trailer of Kunal Kemmu’s second directorial, Vibe, was unveiled on Wednesday, promising a no-holds-barred entertainer filled with his trademark humour, action, and romance. The film stars Kunal Kemmu, Preity Zinta, Sparsh Shrivastava, Vanshika Dhir, Dinesh Lal Yadav “Nirahua,” Yashpal Sharma, and Salem Kali in pivotal roles. The trailer introduces two best friends, Hardik (Kunal) and Bugs (Sparsh), who are thrust into a high-stakes mission by Madam H, played by Preity in a never-before-seen action avatar.
The trailer showcases the duo’s journey from ordinary lives to becoming unlikely heroes, as they face a looming national danger. Preity’s character, with her blonde hair and determined energy, is seen leading the mission, adding a quirky and eccentric touch to the action-comedy. The film is packed with rib-tickling comedy, high-octane action, cutesy romance, and buzzing music, all blended with Kunal’s signature style.
Speaking about the film, Kunal said, “With Vibe, I wanted to make a no-holds-barred entertainer that audiences can watch and enjoy in cinemas with family or friends or even on their own. It’s got everything I love about movies—rib-tickling comedy, high-octane action, cutesy romance, buzzing music, and so much more.” Preity added, “What I really enjoyed about my character was that she has an energy that is completely her own. She loves her country and will go to any lengths to protect it.” Produced by Kunal Kemmu and Chirag Nihalani under Drongo Films, Vibe is set to release in theatres on September 18.
