Just a day after his explosive outburst outside a Mumbai hospital, Salman Khan was seen accepting a heartfelt apology from the paparazzi at the success party of ‘Raja Shivaji’ on Wednesday night .

As the superstar arrived at the celebration, photographers surrounded him repeatedly saying “sorry” and “sorry bhai” while trying to greet him. Hearing the commotion, the actor leaned forward and gestured to ask what had happened. Once he understood they were apologising for their behaviour a day earlier, Salman acknowledged them and signalled that everything was alright .

What triggered the hospital anger

The incident that led to the apology occurred on Tuesday when Salman visited someone at Hinduja Hospital in Mumbai . As he was stepping out, photographers started shouting “Bhai, bhai, Maatrubhumi” – referring to his upcoming film – in an attempt to grab his attention .

A visibly angry Salman lashed out, asking “Pagal ho gaye ho? (Have you gone crazy?)” while gesturing towards his forehead in an irritated manner . He confronted the paparazzi and questioned how they would feel if someone from their own family was admitted to a hospital and he behaved the same way .

Salman’s strong social media warning

Hours after the viral video, Salman took to Instagram and expressed his disappointment in strongly worded posts .

“If I see any press at a hospital enjoying my pain. The press that I have stood for interacted with, took care to make sure that they also earn their bread and butter. But if they wanna make money from my losses, keep quiet, don’t enjoy. bhai bhai bhai matrabhumi picture ki maaa ki aankh, pic imp hai ya life,” he wrote .

In another post, he warned: “Aise main sau jala doonga. Bhai k ek bhai k dukh par agli baar try kar lena mere sath. Buss try kar lena …. Jab bhi tumhara koi hospital mai hoga kya mai aisa react karoonga?” .

His final post carried an even sharper warning: “Saath saal ka ho gaya hoon lekin ladna nahiiin bhoola yeh yaad rakh lena, jail mein dalo ge haaa haaa” .

Raja Shivaji success party and cameo

The success party was hosted to celebrate Riteish Deshmukh’s ‘Raja Shivaji’, which has crossed Rs 117 crore at the box office . Several celebrities attended, including Riteish Deshmukh, Genelia D’Souza, Abhishek Bachchan, Fardeen Khan, Mahesh Manjrekar, and Bhagyashree, among others .

Salman Khan made a special cameo appearance in the film as Jiva Mahale, a loyal bodyguard to Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj known for his bravery during critical battles .

Fans react to the reconciliation

The apology and Salman’s acceptance quickly went viral on social media. Many fans supported the actor and praised the paparazzi for owning up to their mistake . However, a section of netizens also appeared confused and worried by the tone and wording of Salman’s initial Instagram captions .

The incident has reignited a wider debate regarding celebrity privacy, media ethics, and boundaries between public curiosity and personal space – especially at sensitive locations like hospitals .

What’s next for Salman

On the work front, Salman will next be seen in ‘Maatrubhumi’ – a high-profile war drama earlier titled ‘Battle of Galwan’. The film has been delayed due to censorship concerns and reshoots, with reports hinting at an August 2026 release .

Despite the temporary tension, the superstar’s latest appearance at the ‘Raja Shivaji’ success party suggested that relations with the paparazzi have eased after their sincere apology .
